“A Work of Finesse”: Acoustic Guitar Reviews the Guild M-20
Acoustic Guitar has weighed in–and they love the M-20:
“The playability of this guitar makes it fast and easy to play like an electric, yet it has the warm sound of a well-made acoustic going for it. For those looking for a smaller box, the M-20 fits the bill. If you’re looking for a good all-around guitar, as both a fingerpicker and strummer, the M-20 is a great choice.”

I bought an M-20 couple of month ago. Great sounding guitar, but the workmanship is not there at this price point…
Remaining apparent glue inside of the guitar, stains on the tuners, wich i had to change, because the guitar would stay in tone otherwise.
Very nice and easy to play, but still disapointed by the first mentioned.
I just ordered this guitar. Maybe I made a mistake. Did You say the guitar will not stay in tune. If so what kind of tuners did you put on it?
Do they make a drop in replacement like Grover tuners?
It’s $1200 guitar you shouldn’t have to change the tuners.
I can understand your disappointment..
In your opinion how is the neck a fret edges are they up to par??
I was hoping they would put out a decent guitar, considering it’s a new company you would think they would want to get off to a good start.. I will make a review when I get my guitar.
Thanks for the post..greg
Hi Greg. I just got one of these guys. Maybe original poster got an off one but mine is beautiful. Clean inside and out. Sound quality is top notch and the Mahogany is satin finished and when it catches the light it’s really beautiful. Low action and easy to play. Buy w confidence I’d say
