Nathan Salsburg Brings Americana Sound To Tiny Desk Concert
Guitarist Nathan Salsburg recently performed two tracks off his acclaimed debut album, Affirmed, for NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series.
Both songs are about famous racehorses. The first celebrates the Triple Crown-winning horse Affirmed.
The second, “Eight Belles Dreamt the Devil Was Dead,” tells the tragic story of Eight Belles, who tragically broke both her front ankles after tripping across the finish line in the 2008 Kentucky Derby.
