Pennsylvania acoustic folk trio Good Old War has released a new video for the single “Maybe Mine” from their debut album Only Way to Be Alone.
The video alternates between shots of the band playing on a grassy hillside with a bridge as the backdrop and an animated character living out his romantic dreams. And as always, Good Old War's Keith Goodwin and Dan Schwartz turned to their vintage Guild acoustic guitars for the performance.
"Truly, I am obsessed with vintage Guilds," said Schwartz. "There isn't a single song Good Old War has recorded without one. I'm not even exaggerating. I either use the '70s 12-string, Keith's hollow body '67 electric or my baby, the '64 six-string which I've had my entire life. Most of the time I use all three."
While headlining an east coast tour in early December, Good Old War will also lend their services as the backing band to Dave Davison’s solo outfit Cast Spells. In support of the tour, Sargent House will release a four-song EP comprised of two new tracks by each act, marking the first new music from Good Old War since the release of its 2008 debut Good Old War’s two new tracks are “Texas Blues” and “Breaking Down.”
Good Old War will hit the west coast in late December, again playing their own full set as well as serving as the backing band for songwriter Anthony Green.
