Biography

Blending a fusion of 70's R&B and 80's Metal, Kenji Chan has created a unique style of guitar playing throughout his musical career.

Having a broad spectrum of self-taught musical knowledge, right out of high school Kenji quickly found himself playing with Indie Rock/Pop group Meg & Dia, Sony/BMG/Epic Artist Ronnie Day, Country Singer Stephanie Quayle, Pop Artist Lindsey Ray, British Recording Artist Lolene, Fall Out Boy singer Patrick Stump on his solo debut and most recently toured with Grammy-winning singer/songwriter/producer Bruno Mars.

Kenji's distinctive lead guitar lines and melodies can be heard over countless records and live performances and is infamous for "ghost" guitar work in which he prefers to keep undisclosed.  He feels that a great guitar riff should be heard and felt rather than seen and known.
